This Privacy Policy describes how DiagReifier ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our desktop application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information: When you subscribe, we collect your name, email address, and billing details via Stripe (our payment processor).
Usage Data: We may collect anonymized data about feature usage (e.g., conversion types, frameworks used) to improve our AI models. No personal code is stored or transmitted by default.
Uploaded Code: Files or folders you upload for conversion are processed locally or sent securely to our AI backend only during the conversion session. We do not retain your source code after processing unless required for error debugging (with your consent).

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the DiagReifier service
To process your subscription and manage billing (via Stripe)
To improve our AI conversion accuracy and user experience
To respond to your support requests

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

Stripe: We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe collects billing information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.
AI Cloud Infrastructure: Code conversion may involve secure, encrypted communication with our AI backend hosted on trusted cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud). Data is not shared with third parties for advertising or marketing.

4. Data Retention

- Account and billing data are retained for the duration of your subscription plus up to 7 years as required by tax law.
- Uploaded source code is deleted immediately after conversion unless you opt in to error reporting.
- Anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to:

Access, correct, or delete your personal data
Export your data
Withdraw consent (where applicable)
Opt out of non-essential data processing

We implement industry-standard security measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure — use the application at your own discretion, especially with sensitive code.
